Proof testing

Proof testing (also known as pressure testing) is a pure strength assessment. When conducting a pressure test, the goal is to answer the question whether the object is solid or not at a pressure load. If the object is leaking or not leaking is in this context not interesting at all, as long as the object can be filled with print media (liquid or gas) at the pace that the object leaks. Pressure maintenance duration is of vital importance in the testing and must be at least as long as necessary in order to be able to determine if the object critically has altered form.
